Insolvency and Restructuring

Z&Co.’s team of lawyers has been involved in the major actions that have arisen under the 2018 Insolvency Law, constituting new territory for the KSA.

For example, we have acted for creditors in relation to the Maan AlSanea, AHAB and Saudi Oger cases at the Commercial Court, of which involve multi-billion-dollar insolvencies with creditors across multiple jurisdictions. We have also been at the forefront of seeing the Commercial Court judges—along with insolvency officeholders—develop their approach and understanding of the law, and we can therefore bring first-hand experience from these major, contentious insolvency actions to the table.
